New Belgium is a leader in environmentally-friendly brewing and works really hard to promote bicycling as part of a very practical way of life. They strongly encourage support of local non-profits. They also brew some darn tasty beer. Our partnership with them is a perfect fit.

They are donating 5 kegs of beer for the afterparty. Beer will be free for racers and $5 for non-racers.

Of course, we will be carding. Please drink responsibly.

This year the custom prize bag from Trash Messenger Bags is going to the winner of the rookie category! So, that girl that you know that really knows how to get rad on her bike but never comes out to events? Get her to come to her first race and do Babes and she might go home with a custom Trash Bag!

Calhoun Cycle is your local folding bike, cargo bike, long distance touring, and recumbent shop.  They carry important brands that you won't find in most other shops: Arkel, Carradice, Brompton, and Schwalbe to name a few.  They hooked us up big time with cash money and a ladies Brooks saddle to give away. 

Sunrise Cyclery, a used bike shop in Uptown, is the home of Grease Rag Ride & Wrench.  They open up the shop to women/trans/femme cyclists twice a month for the free skill share.  Jamie's favorite part of owning the shop is wheel building, and so they're donating a free whee building lesson to one lucky racer!

Freight supported us from the very beginning. Made by a couple of great guys out in San Francisco, they make a great product.

Beard Bags is a new cycling specific bag company in Minneapolis made by James Crooks.  He makes well designed, built to last products including backpacks, hip pouches, foot retention straps, and some polo goodies as well.  You can find his products at shops around town, or check out his new online shop!

Banjo Brothers is a Minneapolis bike bag staple.  Their backpacks, messenger bags, seat bags, and panniers are seen on bikes and backs all over town.  Banjo Brothers are a huge supporter of the Minneapolis bike community and have been a sponsor of Babes since the begining.  

O2 Rainwear is a local company that makes cycling specific rain jackets and pants.  As cyclists, the designers know the range of weather we get here in Minneapolis, MN and make products that work all year ‘round.  The pride themselves in designing for any type of rider, from serious cyclists to casual rec riders. Find their products in local shops or online!

One on One Bicycle Studio has been a cornerstone in the Minneapolis cycling community for ages.  It's got everything all in one: new & used bikes, repair, coffee, food, and an art gallery.  They've always been supportive of Babes in Bikeland, so cheers to them!

This year, they're making custom Babes coozies that all the racers, and many of the spectators, will bring home for free!

Twin Six is an extremely generous sponsor of the afterparty. They've donated a huge box of prizes that will be included in our raffle. If you race, you're probably gonna ride away with a new Twin Six water bottle, shirt, socks, or one of the numerous other things that they donated.

Fox Den is partnering with Caffetto to give each racer a re-fueling bag at the end of the race. Remember those great little bags with the vitamin water and granola bars that was a godsend at the end of last year's race? You're getting it again this year.

Have your muscles been really tense or sore from biking all summer? Well, if you elbow your way towards these gift certificates during the raffle, you could win a free shiatsu massage from your friendly One on One barista/massage therapist - Girl Carl.

Beau Layman is a local artist that makes beautiful sculptures out of bicycle parts and other metals.  For the past few years, Beau has built fabulous trophies for the winners of Babes in Bikeland.  See more of his art the link below!

Angry Catfish is a unique bicycle shop and coffee bar in south Minneapolis.  They carry high end bikes, parts, clothing, and coffee for the rider who cares about quality.  Host of the 2010 Babes in Bikeland afterparty, they've supported us since the day they opened.  Oh, and it's our favorite place to watch the Tour de France.
